So..hmm okay this hasnt been the greatest time for me at all.

1) getting thrown out the house

2) Ms Clupin having a go at me cuz she had a shit day

3) having an exam that was harder than rock

4) finding a bags of my life outside the house later that night

but on the other hand i do now get a massive jazcuzzi bath all to myself at my uncles house and a BIG room.

So we had assembly.. I know bad enough as it is, but it gets worse.. we students of The Long Eaton School are turning in to Hogwarts students now. I quote a rather patronising teacher but a teacher anyway ‘I was going to say welcome to Hogwarts but I thought I might sound like I was a witch’ Well.. now you come to mention it.. I can’t honestly see the point in this silly decision and I thought in sixth form we we’re meant to be treated like adults.. I’M NOT FIVE YEARS OLD.. I DON’T WANT TO EARN ‘POINTS’ FOR ACTIVITIES.. THAT DOESN’T IMPRESS ME!!!! And as for the lame excuse of ‘it can go on your UCAS applications’ Errmmmm.. HELLO us year 13’s have already sent our UCAS off so therefore NO IT CAN’T!!!

As our Number 1. from Christmas of 2009 would say..

“You justify those that died by wearing the badge.. I wont do what you tell me!”

I thought those particular words about the badge seemed apt seeing as we are going to be forrrrced in to wearing a STUPID badge so they can tell what house we’re in. So much for individuality and finding your own identity.. we have become victims of the world of corporation.

Oh and well done Hildrew, you’ve turned me in to a blogger! Be proud I’m welcoming the new media in to my life completely now.. I shall be a Tumblr addict soon as well as a Facebook one!!

No Hildrew, it cannot and will not be good. I was going to rant about this earlier but I knew I’d get carried away. OK, for the younger years - it’s probably a pretty good idea, quite exciting for them, but I think I can safely say from Year 11 upwards, this is really really not what we want. We don’t care about being involved in silly activities or gaining points or wearing a bloody coloured badge (oh please) and we’ve had more than enough of being treated like little kids - as we have been everyday in the sixth form since Mrs Culpin & Mr Beales takeover. Also, my anger towards Mr Beale intensified by about a million during that assembly today and I really didn’t think that was possible.

Anyway it’s highly unlikely to change now and if sixth form carries on under Culpin and Beales reign it’s only going to get worse. I just wish that at the end of Year 11 we could have all looked into a crystal ball and seen that from the middle of Year 12 it was all just going to go tits up and become a huge pile of shite. Then we could have all gone to college instead, but as previously mentioned, we aren’t actually in Hogwarts and crystal balls don’t really exist. Hey ho, at least we haven’t got too much longer before we escape to Uni.

See, I knew I’d get carried away!

 well i cant wait to wear badge proundly and win points for no treat in return :( i actully feel as if harry potter ginder and geek are going to waltz into my class and snape is going to teach us magic, does this world want me to have a tortured life, we were told its optional but in Long Eaton School is YOU WILL DO IT or we’ll throw you out—- and this chanellge day phahhahhha yeah that isnt going to happen, hasnt this school to into acount the amount of work we do, but this schoool thinks we have to do more, tbh are mangers going to care if i was in house wore a badge or played games with little children… this suckss and nothing will be done in sixth formbut everyone will moan about i say petition time!!!

The house clolour idea is the lamest thing that the lamest school could every doo :)

1. Matt Bellamy - Muse.

Whilst promoting their single ‘uprising’ Muse were asked to play a mimed performance of the song on an italian show which can be seen on youtube. Not exactly ‘thrilled’ with having to mime in front of an audience that don’t care they decided to swap instruments with the lead singer playing drums, the drummer playing bass and the bassist playing guitar. Matt’s ‘drummer face’ was brilliant. ohh i think he’s SEXY!!!!!!!

2. Robbie Williams - Idiot.
 

Surely there isn’t any need for this. In nearly every live performance I have seen, it appears that his singing touches audiences himself. See this youtube link to see more…

 

3. Prince - ma-nom-a-nom

I wander if his partner knows about Prince’s affair with his…instrument. Obviously, he shows a lot of passion for his guitar. This face is a classic ‘guitar face’. 

4. Slash 

Whilst looking through pictures of slash playing guitar I stumbled across this rather brilliant photoshopped image of him and Harry Potter. It also came to my attention that Slash doesn’t have a face - it consists of just hair.

5. Joe Bonamassa - Andy pipkin in disguise

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Although an amazing musician - his guitar skills are second to none and creates inspiration for millions; I still can’t stop myself thinking that he looks a lot like Andy Pipkin from Little Britain. 

I think this bottom one is really good, it makes me laugh, something Ive not really noticed before.

Finding Nemo

I personally feel the film Finding Nemo is absolutely amazing!! The storyline is really unrealistic, but its so believeable at the same time, its exactly how you would expect fish to act. The Pixar animation is really clever, it makes the ocean look so colourful and clean, even though we no it isn’t. My favourtie character it without a doubt Dori (Ellen DeGeneres), she reminds me of myself with her clumbsiness and if she was human I swear she would be blonde.

This film is almost joint 1st with my favourite film. The storyline for this is quite interesting watching how zoo animals become wild animals is quite interesting… :S I only love this film because of the characters, they make me laugh so much! My favourite character is King Julian, he is awesome. My favourite quote qould have to be ” Everybody be quiet, including me, SHHHH! Whos making that noise? Oh, its me again” all spoken by King Julian (Sacha Baron Cohen)

Dirty Dancing

I think this film speaks for itself, its a classic, that most people love and enjoy. A tear jerking storyline and popular sound tracks.

Monsters Inc :) Boo! Shes amazing and soo cute. I feel so sorry for her when she gets kidnapped by Randell, but that doesn’t matter any want as Sulley and Mike save the day!

All girls love this film, whats not to love, its bitchy, girly and involves a lot of pink. Most people probabily imagine that this is how most girls are in high school, but obviously we’re not all like this :D

Well in 2009 i decided maybe i should buy albums instead of downloading everything, so out of the 100 i’m going to share my top 5. so glad i can bore you :)

1)   Innerpartysystem - Innerpartysystem

Sooo, this album has been out for a while 2008 and i heard about the band at the 02 wireless festival and performed with energy. the song that started this love was “Dont Stop” with an odd video (as the long eaton school is GAY i cant post a link for the video) http://innerpartysystem.com/ 

2)  30 Seconds To Mars - This Is War

3) Hollywood Undead - Swan Songs

After listening to thios album again and again i still cant place them in a gnere which is quite annoying I’ve been told its rap-rock, i put this album on my list because the lyrics make me laugh and the album has a strange effect of making me want to  go out and party and drink alot :) “Everywhere I Go, B**ches always know That Charlie Scene has got a weenie that he loves to show(b**ch)Everywhere I Go, B**ches always know That Charlie Scene has got a weenie that he loves to show” se what i mean its just soo damm catchy

4)  Little Boots -  Hands

this album is a little unique and different and i love it the rappie -pop-rock is a bit like hollywood undead but more poppie and easier to sing to if cant scream like those odd males!
